Task & Responsibilities:
While not necessarily an expert in all aspects of Finance, the individual should be very familiar with financial planning, accounting policies, pricing, negotiating contracts and dealing with the unique financial aspects of operating internationally (e.g. foreign exchange, tax and treasury issues). The VP/Finance/Operations will have strong communication and team leadership skills that complement his/her financial skills. He/She will work well as part of the Executive Team, but also be able to “roll up their sleeves” so as to lead by example, tackling specific projects, supporting multiple business owners, and providing mentoring to both Finance and non-Finance team members in the organization. The person will thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic culture and be able to manage in an environment where new products, or the entry into new markets, will require an individual comfortable operating in unchartered territory.
Profile:
- Senior level manager with 10+ years’ experience.
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Previous experience in ICT industry.
- Experience managing a sales force.
- Some level of legal expertise, sufficient to negotiate basic legal terms and conditions.
