In this role you support and act as sparring partner to the Head of Finance for Europe/Africa in day-to-day operations with a focus on our cost accounts. This is a varied role in which you can broaden and develop your skills.
Your role

You perform the monthly analysis and report for Europe & Africa for all 3rd party costs, personnel expenses and other operating expenses;

You develop meaningful KPIs and reporting on business performance, providing deep insights and fact-based analysis, by means of monthly reporting (third party cost analysis, capital expenditure, cash), monthly forecasting, strategic update, annual plan etc.;

You drive and deploy process improvement, set up new reporting tools for the region and coordinate activities with the entities;

You perform forward-looking ad-hoc analysis, such as: project & strategy evaluation, scenario analysis, efficiency/effectiveness analysis, M&A, return on investment on capital expenditure;

You work together with the Assistant Controller, Revenue Controller and Head of Finance to ensure our month end close/Forecasting and budget process is running smoothly;

You contribute to quality, accuracy and integrity of information stored in the systems, enabling a single source of truth.
What you bring along

You have a M.Sc. degree in e.g. Economics or Business Administration with a relevant professional qualification (Register Controller or equivalent);

You have 5+ years working experience with control, advisory or business analysis, preferably within an international environment;

You have the capacity to digest complex information, see trends, think in scenario’s and analysis though data and are able to look outside-in and with a helicopter view;

You are a flexible team player with infallible integrity and ethical standards, you are accurate, take ownership and have a critical mindset;

You are an excellent communicator with good English language skills (verbal and written) and you perform well in an international and multi-stakeholder setting.
