International company is looking for a Controller to maintain all aspects of general ledger and internal control and to ensure compliant, timely and accurate country internal and external reporting and supports the Business Controller initiatives.
Your key responsibilities would be to:
- Ensure appropriate accounting and controlling of several Holding entities;
- Maintains transaction processes and systems to ensure effective financial reporting and operational information;
- Manages general accounting and closing procedures;
- Timely and accurate internal and external reporting based on IFRS and Group Policies;
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements as well as internal controls;
- Provides statutory returns for corporate income tax, VAT and other government departments;
- Ensures adequate safeguarding of Company assets;
- Supports in:
- planning & control cycles: strategic plan, budgeting, forecasting, monthly analyses and interpretation of results (together with the different departments);
- implementing internal procedures;
- ad hoc analysis and business cases;
- Seeks improvements in the Company's information systems and processes.
Professional qualification and experience:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance / Controlling / Accounting
- Good knowledge of and experience in company administration
- Good knowledge of Excel
- 3 to 5 years working experience in a similar position
- Skills with Infor ERP LN or a similar ERP package
- Cognos reporting is an advantage
- Analytical skills, trend analysis and logical approach
- Able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
- English speaking and writing required / Dutch is an advantage
